The Lord's Larder, Yeovil

In 2020 the club's Christmas party could not be held due to Covid-19 restrictions. The members agreed to donate what would have been spent to provide additional support to the Lords Larder and to fund the Tintinhull Christmas boxes detailed below. £270 worth of goods were provided to the lords Larder including a generous £20 gift card donation from Tesco's Yeovil.

Bringing 2020 Christmas Cheer in Tintinhull

Yeo Vale Rotary and the children of St Margaret's Primary school in Tintinhull teamed up to produce 20 Christmas boxes for distribution to people in the village who would be alone this Christmas. The boxes contained mince pies, Christmas cake and chocolates along with a Christmas greeting card written by the pupils of St Margaret's. Father Peter of St Margaret's church in Tintinhull gladly received and displayed the boxes prior to delivery.
